Assyrian Democratic Movement (ADM) clarifies that Matthew VanDyke DID NOT train the NPU

Zowaa-EmblemIn a statement (see below or download here) released globally on August 1, 2015, ADM has made it clear that Matthew VanDyke did not train the NPU and is threatening legal action against him, both in the US and Iraq, if he will not stop using the name and image of the Nineveh Plain Protection Units (NPU) for the solicitation of funds in any context for any reason.

In the statement, ADM notes that though they initially welcomed VanDyke as a member of the media, they asked him to leave because of his “peculiar and sometimes bizarre behavior.”

VanDyke himself has acknowledged that he is afflicted with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, (OCD), a pathological, mental dysfunction which, according to award-winning mental health networks like Psych-Central, is often associated with obsessive thoughts, lying and repetitive behaviors.

In the statement ADM makes it clear that VanDyke did not train the NPU, and despite raising untold amounts of money through many media appearances, VanDyke has provided “no benefit whatsoever to the NPU or ADM.”

VanDyke was, the statement notes, so dishonest with the American Army Veterans who did train the NPU that they too broke with him, a fact well-documented in a recent article by national journalist Jenna McLaughlin.

Finally, the statement makes it clear that ADM is preparing legal action against VanDyke, to be executed both in Iraq and the United States, if he does not stop his “injustice” against the NPU and ADM.

The Restore Nineveh Now Foundation (RNNF) and the American Mesopotamian Organization (AMO)  have been working closely with the ADM to expose the strange, and in their opinion, fruadulent and illegal activities of Matthew VanDyke. AMO and RNNF will support the Assyrian Democratic Movement’s legal actions against Mr. VanDyke if he does not immediately stop using the name and image of the Nineveh Plain Protection Units in any context for any reason.
